“Okay kid, this is where it gets complicated.”

Hiya, I’m Katie! I’m 19 and I’m terrible at describing myself.

I’M NOT A FASHION BLOG! I’M A BLOGGER THAT HAPPENS TO LIKE FASHION. I POST OTHER THINGS, TOO.

I’m a sci-fi loving freak who wears prescription glasses and has a widows peak. I read comics and drink Dr. Pepper religiously.

I’m also a (future) Sailor in the US Navy.

I speak in an English accent everyday regardless of being from the Midwest. I am most known for my porcelain ivory skin, my hair changes, and my ever constant thick liner. I’m British at heart.

I’m everyone’s Dr. Phil and I’m always here for those who need me. Feel free to vent to me about anything and everything.

My dream, my ultimate dream is to work for the BBC behind the scenes or in front of the camera on any of their shows, as the token American. I have an unhealthy obsession with Britain, England, Doctor Who and Sherlock. (I have been described as the Pokedex of Doctor Who).

I adore English and Asian fashion. When I find a way to successfully mix the two together and make it aesthetically pleasing, I will let you guys know. Check out my fashion blog, KatielikeMe!

My idols, Charlie Chaplin, the Doctor and Jean-Luc Picard.

I’m an open book to the right people, and a closed book to others. And, I like it that way.

Why the Navy?/Why are you in the Military? I want to do something with my life and the Navy seemed like it was my best bet.

Where are you from? I’m from the US, the Midwest. I sometimes post about what state I live in and sometimes I don’t.

Where are you from (as in origin)? I’m white. 100% white. Dad’s family is English, mom’s family is Irish.

What is your make up routine? I have a multiple posts about this, and I might even do a video, if I can be arsed to do so.

Why do you use British words if you’re American? I use some British slang and common words because, well, I can. It also makes more sense to me. I’ve watched BBC/BBCA all of my life, so saying crisps instead of chips, or post instead of mail just makes more sense to me.

Why KawaiiKatie/Hey Moon? Kawaii Katie is the nickname my boyfriend gave me like I gave him TonyOny. Hey Moon is from the song Northern Downpour by Panic at the Disco “Hey moon, please forget to fall down. Hey moon don’t you go down”.

What kind of blog are you? I get a lot of love and hate about my blog, saying I’m not kawaii and that I need to stop, or that they love my fashion blog. First and foremost, this is my personal blog. I post rants, vents, nonsessical text posts about my life. I do post cute things, but I also post other things that catch my fancy. I’m not a fashion blog, I’m a blogger who happens to like fashion. And, I’m not a kawaii blog, I just happen to love pixels, manga, anime and cute things.

Why did you leave college? The lack of money and comfort. I didn’t have 5k to give them when they came asking for it. I also didn’t care much for my department. So, I came home to help my family pay bills and for my own personal comfort.

Why is anon sometimes on and off? Because for only having ~300 followers, I got a lot of anon hate. So, for the sake of my blog and my sanity, I turned it off. Now if someone has a problem with what I post, they can’t hide behind pseudo-anonymity.
